I had a very good experience leasing an apartment for a year in Perth. Both Hazel and David have been very kind and approachable, and very flexible which helped a lot to make my stay in Perth smooth. The first apartment we rented in Australia was manged by Tuckey Property Group. Hazel made the whole process quite easy for us. She was very friendly and responsive from the start to end of the lease. Once we had a problem with water leak in the apartment. I had to contact Hazel at 9pm. She was responsive and very helpful. We had to shut down the water for the night. In the next morning, Hazel came to inspect the problem at 7:30am. A couple of hours later a plumber came and fixed the problem. Overall, we had a great experience.

Being new to the rental race in WA but also existing property owners in the eastern states, we were delighted to be dealing with David and Hazel. David was very understanding of our plight as self funded retirees - our ability to pay the rent was not an issue however this seemed difficult to prove when applying for a rental as we did not tick all the standard boxes like being able to provide payslips and previous rental references (we are retired, self funded and own our home in Sydney). We were able to provide other suitable documents and David understood that as property owners ourselves, we would look after the unit as if it were our own - and we did. Hazel our property manager was friendly, approachable and always treated us respectfully. Her attention to detail did not go unnoticed. After 2 years of renting, we have bought our own place in Perth. We plan to rent this property out eventually and Hazel is exactly the kind of property manager we want. We will definitely be returning to the Tuckey Property Group - but next time as landlords.

We are so grateful to our property Manager Hazel Webber for helping us settle into this property in Perth CBD when we had just arrived from Sydney. She was incredibly welcoming, professional, and supportive throughout the entire process , from move-in to the end of our lease. She was especially understanding and helpful with my situation as a pregnant tenant, which made everything much easier and less stressful Her communication was clear, timely, and reassuring, which made our tenancy smooth and stress-free.
